Ellicott Hotels and 500 Pearl, a division of Ellicott Development, is in search of a proven Director of Hotels Sales to continue building upon our current growth. Our company is currently serving many WNY markets and looking for a well rounded experienced sales leader to join and lead our existing sales team.
The ideal candidate will display a professional, established, and experienced disposition, will be goal driven and familiar with all facets of room/event sales and building long term business relationships. We are looking for a proven hotel sales leader who knows this region, the current marketplace and how to continue tapping into all levels of related room/event sales and think outside the box. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with peers, competitors, and brand partners.
Must be a self-starter who is willing to adjust to changes in the marketplace to achieve success.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (To include but not limited to)
- Help sales team achieve or exceeding individual and hotel sales goals and budgets.
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue generation.
- Managing lead sources to ensure quantity and quality of leads.
- Seeking new customers through strategic outbound sales efforts for group, extended stay, corporate and transient room revenue.
- Conducting sales calls to key accounts or major prospects.
- Monitoring sales activities/performance to ensure revenue goals meet or exceed established plan and accurately reporting variance/projections to management.
- Weighing the value of each piece of business against hotel and Ellicott Hospitality objectives.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with peers, competitors and brand partners.
